Introducing new mechanisms to encourage children to stay active in a fun and engaging way
Xplora offers innovative smart devices and services to connect family members in new ways with more interactions and engagement. One of the services Xplora provides is to have campaigns to encourage kids to stay active by walking.
The challenge of this project is to increase user engagement by including gamifications to the campaigns and to allow users to see their progress in a more clear and visual way.
I introduced the click-to-collect mechanism and an interactive map and analyzed the data from A/B testing to help validate the assumptions that I had. In addition, I included an educational element to the two new mechanisms to teach children about the wildfires which happened in 2021 and 2022.
This campaign partnered with One Tree Planted to help plant trees in real life when the campaign goal of planting 10 million virtual trees is reached.
