Smart mobile banking

Redesigning the app and enhancing the payment user experience

LGT is the largest royal family-owned private banking and asset management group in the world. Their area of expertise covers portfolio management services, financial planning, services for intermediaries and their clients, and discretionary portfolio services for US connected clients.

LGT created a SmartBanking app to provide an online banking service that enables clients to do their banking whenever and wherever they want, including on public holidays and weekends. When LGT started to
lose clients in relation to the lack of online service support, LGT began to seek stronger cues to improve their customers' mobile banking experience. With the client’s interests in mind, LGT sought to create a better user experience as well as redesign their screens.

 

The challenge for this project was to modernize private banking by enabling clients to manage their accounts and assets regardless of location and time. I led workshops and designed mobile screens that followed the existing design system by working closely with multidisciplinary teams to improve the in-app experience.
